Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Trader Joe's Italian Sausage uncooked
  • 1 pkg Trader Joe's Black Bean Pasta
  • 2-4 Tbsp Kirkland Basil Pesto Costco Brand
  • 2-3 cups veggie of choice

Instructions

  • Start boiling water for pasta
  • Remove casing from sausage and cook in large skillet
  • Add pasta to water - be careful not to overcook pasta
  • When pasta is done, drain and add to sausage with Basil Pesto
  • Serve with veggie

Notes

I love this super simple easy dish.  Its great for everyone missing pasta and looking for an alternative.  We have also done this same recipe with a buckwheat/brown rice/lentil pasta and my kids still ate it all up!
