Açai Bowl

Açai berries have been touted as a super food with a range of potential health benefits for many years:

  1. Antioxidant properties: Açai berries are rich in antioxidants, which help protect the body against damage from free radicals and may reduce the risk of certain diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.
  2. Improved heart health: Açai berries contain compounds that may help lower cholesterol levels and improve heart health.
  3. Improved digestion: Açai berries contain fiber, which can help promote healthy digestion and prevent constipation.
  4. Weight loss: Açai berries contain fiber and healthy fats that can help regulate appetite and promote weight loss.
  5. Boosted energy: Açai berries are a natural source of energy and can help improve physical endurance and performance.

The problem with most traditional Açai bowls - they are loaded with sugar, and high fructose fruit. This bowl includes proteins and a nut based granola to lower the overall sugar and increase the total fiber.

It's so good, I have to remind myself that it is good for me!
