Detox Approved Brownie

Ah, doing the detox and the sweet cravings are becoming unbearable. You are in luck - this recipe stays within the guidelines, and unless you tell them, no on will know what is missing!

Detox Approved Brownie

The approved diet brownie

  • 2 C. Almond Flour
  • 1/2 C. Cacao Powder (Be sure you get CACAO and not Cocoa)
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 C. Avocado Oil or Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 C. Monkfruit Sweetener
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 C. Unsweetend Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 3/4 C. Libby's Chocolate Chips (split into 1/2 C. and 1/4 C.)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degress

  2. Mix all dry ingredients (except chocolate chips)

  3. Add wet ingredients

  4. Add 1/2 C. of Chocolate Chips

  5. Spray 8x8 pan with spray, and spread batter evenly. Sprinkle top with the remaining 1/4 C. Chocolate Chips.

  6. Bake for 40 min.

This recipe is everything you want when you crave sweet yummy dark chocolate.  Add in the superfood Cacao and you will be feeling pretty amazing.  It's also grain and gluten free!

Best advice - after made and cooled, cut into squares and store in the freezer.  One - this prevents you from eating them to quickly.  Two - they are a bit crumbly, having them frozen will keep them together.
