Detox Turkey Burger & Fries
All the goodness with 0 Guilt
- 16oz. Frozen Potato Fries (I love Trader Joes)
- 1 Pkg Trader Joe's Frozen Turkey Burgers (4 per package)
- 1 Roma Tomato
- 1 head Butter lettuce, Spring Mix or Iceberg Lettuce
- 1 Avocado (Sliced)
- 2 lg Pickles (sliced)
- 1/4 Onion
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Add the fries into the Air Fryer, and follow its directions. I prefer the frozen kind over fresh as they tend to crisp up better in the Air Fryer
Turn on the grill to 400 degrees
While the grill is warming up, prep the lettuce, slice the tomato, avocado, pickles, onion
Cook the burgers about 7-10 minutes on each side
Serve with vegetables and fries.
Trader Joe's has some of the best chicken and turkey burgers, and this one is one of my faves. The ingredients are so simple - turkey, salt and rosemary - that's it. Serve it with your favorite veggies and a side of the home fries, and you will never miss the bun.
Have extra napkins on hand or a fork/knife to make eating the burger a little easier.
Love ketchup, but not the sugar? Try Thrive Market's Brand of Ketchup. http://thrv.me/7tSNEB - organic and less than $3 per bottle, you can't beat that.
Non - Detox: top your burger with your favorite cheese, or try serving it open bun style and include one half of a bun under all the burger and veggie goodness.
