We get it! There are times when you want mashed potatoes exactly as they were intended - smooth, creamy and without cauliflowers or some alternative. These mashed potatoes are full of all the good stuff and none of the bad stuff.
For some variation try a dutch yellow potato instead of the traditional russet for a creamier texture.
As a side note...we don't consider full fat, grass fed, organic butter as "dairy," as far as our hormone balance goes (its all fat and void of lactose), so enjoy it.
*Gravy choices - look for organic - I find mine at Whole Foods, and its gluten and dairy free, and still tastes amazing.
Mashed Potatoes
Real mashed potatoes, real healthy
- Large Pot

- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 C. Grass Fed Butter / Ghee or Vegan Alternative

Peel and chop potatoes - boil them in water until tender.
While potatoes are cooking, place garlic in tin foil and pour over olive oil. Cook these in over or toaster for 40 minutes.
Mash potatoes and add all above ingredients. If you chose not use the garlic, still add the olive oil when mashing the potatoes
