Pot Roast

Pot Roast

Old Fashioned Pot Roast

  • Crock Pot
  • Instant pot
  • 2-3 lb. Grass-Fed Beef Roast (We love our Butcher Box)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped up)
  • 3-4 Large Carrots (Chopped up)
  • 4-6 Dutch Potatoes (any potato will work)
  • 4-5 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 pkt. Organic chicken or beef gravy (Our favorite is the Organic Chicken Gravy from Thrive Market)
  • 8 oz. Water
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  1. These directions are for the Crock pot, but this will work in the Instant Pot too. Follow your equipment instructions for a roast.

  2. Add carrots, onion, potatoes and garlic to bottom of the crock pot.

  3. Add roast

  4. On top of roast sprinkle the gravy mix

  5. Then add water and avocado oil.

  6. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8 hours

dinner, Main Course

We've elevated the traditional roast beef meal with grass fed beef and seasonings that aren't loaded with artificial and natural flavorings in addition to corn starch, corn meal, maltodextrin or msg.  You're left with an insanely tender and filling dinner.

Bonus: This meal smells so yummy while it is cooking.

21 Day Detox - not approved.  During the 21 day detox we give up all red meat, but once you've reached the re-introduction phase this is a great meal to add.  The key though is the grass-fed beef and organic gravy.
