Stacia’s Blueberry Oatmeal

By Corry Matthews

November 25, 2019

Just to set the record straight...I am not a fan of oatmeal or a big consumer of fruit, but I needed something warm for breakfast with this cold weather kick in Virginia. I used to add egg whites to make this more of a porridge. And, I have figured out it's the texture of oatmeal that I don't like...my solution? Coffee grind it all! Want to add protein? You can add egg whites or any protein powder. I would add a vegan/plant-based protein powder now that I've determined the flavor and consistency I'm happy with. Don't like blueberries? Add your favorite berries! ~Stacia

Blueberry Oatmeal

Stacia's take on Blueberry Oatmeal

  • 1 packet Nature's Way Organic Instant Oatmeal (Grind in coffee grinder or Magic Bullet)
  • 1 pinch Himalayan Sea Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp organic cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 1 handful organic blueberries (mine were frozen)
  1. Grind oatmeal, cinnamon, and salt together

  2. Heat water - about 2/3 cup or the amount to make the oatmeal to your preferred consistency

  3. Add water to oatmeal mixture

  4. Add blueberries

  5. Enjoy!
