Street Tacos

Yummy Mexican Food from Home

  • 1-2 lbs Lean Steak (cut up into bite size pieces)
  • 1-2 Tbsp Lime Juice (1-2 limes)
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado or Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 c Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 c Chopped Lettuce or Greens
  • 1/2 c Sour Cream
  • 1 c Salsa
  • 1 pkg Corn Tortillas (You can opt for the lower carb wheat ones too.)
  1. Mix all ingredients after steak, then pour over bite sized raw pieces of steak.

  2. Grill in a grill basket. If you don't have a basket, then keep steak hole and cut after cooking.

  3. While steak is cooking warm up tortillas wrapped in foil on the grill or over.

  4. Serve - tortilla filled with meat and toppings.

This is another family favorite at our house.  Our family likes serving these tacos with black beans and green salad.  Use traditional corn tortillas or lessen the carbs with a lower carb option, there are many to choose from.
