Veggie Loaded Asian Bowl

This meal is so simple and so fast! When you are on the go and trying to get a meal with veggies - this works.

Yes, you can add rice*, but it's so good without it, why???

*When you add rice this meal is no longer detox approved.

Veggie Loaded Asian Bowl

  • Skillet with lid
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1/2 Onion (chopped)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 lb. Ground Poultry
  • 1/2 bag Broccoli Slaw
  • 1/2 Cabbage (I used an already chopped bag from Trader Joes)
  • 1 Tbsp Gluten Free Hoisin Sauce (Yes, adds a tiny bit of sugar)
  • 1 Tbsp Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Aminos (If you want to skip Hoisin, just double Coconut Aminos)
  • Sriarcha (For topping)
  • Cilantro (Chopped for toppinc)
  • 2 Cups Jasmine Rice (Optional only for picky eaters!)
  1. Chop up all veggies, and add oil to skillet to heat up.

  2. Add onion and garlic and cook for about 3 minutes med/hi heat.

  3. Add in meat, cook until browned.

  4. Add in broccoli slaw and cabbage and cover, cook for about 5 minutes until wilted.

  5. Mix together Hoisin, Soy Sauce and Coconut Aminos. Then pour over skillet and mix together.

  6. Serve as is or over rice. For additional flavor, add cilantro, sriarcha sauce or even some chopped up cashews.
