The key to remember, these are supplements, and they are meant to be added to an already healthy diet. A few of these we find absolutely necessary and a couple others just help with the crazy busi-ness, we call life.

Protein powder supplements

Many think that protein bulks you up, but that is false. Protein feeds your lean muscle which helps you burn fat and keep it off. Yes, you heard that right, protein will help you lose weight and get lean.  Whether you are a vegan / vegetarian or just not a fan of always cooking your protein – protein powders are one of our most recommended supplements and super convenient. 

Vitamin/mineral Complex

Think you are getting all the right vitamins and minerals from your food?  Think again.  Even if you are eating 7-9 servings of fruit and vegetables a day, you might still be missing key nutrients.  Think of your vitamin/mineral supplement as insurance that you are getting everything you need.  If you body isn’t performing optimally it’s less likely to work on muscle building and fat loss and instead focus on the basic needs of your body, like survival.
