Steak and Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 lb. flank steak prefer grass fed, organic
- 1 pkt. Italian dressing seasoning mix or use our recipe
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar or any other vinegar works
- 2 Russet Potatoes or 6-8 small
- 1 bag Frozen Riced Cauliflower
- 1-2 Tbsp butter prefer organic
- 1-2 Tbsp milk or chicken stock
Instructions
- Mix Italian seasoning with olive oil and vinegar and add Steak. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Boil potatoes (approx 45 min)
- Microwave cauliflower rice and mix with potatoes, butter, milk/stock. I prefer to use my mixer.
- Grill steak.
Notes
This marinade works for chicken or fish too! These mashed potatoes can fool even the biggest critic.
I love garlic, and so does my family so we add 3-4 cloves or garlic when mixing. If you've got a gravy lover, chicken or beef gravy work well. I cheat with a packet for the gravy for the kids.
