Spicy Turkey and Beans
Yummy Szechuan inspired rice bowl
- 1 lb. Ground Turkey or Chicken
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce (use low sodium / gluten free if needed)
- 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar (be sure it is un-sweetened)
- 1 tsp Coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
- 3-4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1-2 cups Rice (Use Jasmine or Cauliflower for lower carbs)
Heat oil in large non-stick skillet
When hot add beans and cook 5-8 minutes, then transfer to bowl/plate
Add to skillet meat and cook for 5 minutes
Then add garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes
Add the green beans back to the pan
Add sauce and stir until heated through
Serve with jasmine or cauliflower rice
An easy weeknight dinner full of flavor!
