Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps
Everything you love, nothing you don't!
- 1 head Butter lettuce
- 1-2 Carrots (finely chopped)
- 1/2 Onion (finely chopped)
- 2-3 Garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 Red or Yellow Pepper (finely chopped)
- 1-1.5 pounds Grass-fed Beef
- 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar (Look for the kind with no sugar added)
- 2 Tbsp Gluten Free Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce (And extra for serving)
- Sriracha Sauce (for serving only)
Add avocado oil, sesame oil and rice vinegar to skillet with all the vegetables - cook for about 8-10 minutes.
Add the ground beef, after 5 minutes add the soy sauce and hoisin sauce.
While cooking separate the leaves of the butter lettuce. Serving size is two lettuce leaves each filled with a 1/2 cup of mixture.

If you are doing our detox - yes, you can still have this recipe with two simple swaps. Instead of beef choose turkey or chicken and instead of the Hoisin sauce choose coconut aminos.
