- Crock Pot / Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Beef Chuck Roast Use Organic Grass Fed/Grass Finished
- 4 Garlic Cloves Chopped or Sliced
- 1 Onion Quartered
- 3 Celery Stalks Chopped
- 2 C. Baby Carrots Leave whole
- 24 oz. Dutch Potatoes Cut in half
- 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 16 oz. Beef Broth Use organic, can use bone broth
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Chop all veggies and add to crock pot.
- Brown roast on all sides. You can use the avocado oil here, but be sure to add all drippings from browning the roast into the crock pot. Other option if using a non stick pan, add oil to crockpot.
- Pour over meat and veggies the beef broth.
- Feel free to add any additional seasonings- options we've tried are oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary.
- Let cook on low for 6-8 hours.
