Equipment

  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Ghee
  • 2 cups Frozen Green Beans or Fresh I used the Organic Frozen from Trader Joes
  • 1-2 cups All Natural French Fries I used the ones from Trader Joes
  • 1 lb. Chicken or Turkey Sausage You can also use Beef or Pork if you aren't doing the detox. Its delicious.

Instructions

  • The night before, place the frozen green beans and fries in refrigerator (makes for easier prep)
  • Add ghee to skillet and heat up
  • Cut fries/potatoes into bite size pieces, add to skillet with ghee
  • Add green beans to skillet
  • Slice sausage and then add to skillet (you can also use ground sausage too)
  • Cook to desired tenderness of potatoes and green beans

Notes

This is a super simple, easy meal for the week-days.  Its even easier if you remember to thaw out the frozen ingredients.  I didn't add any additional seasonings, as the sausage provided the perfect flavor.  The only complaint I got - I didn't make enough for left-overs.
This meal can also be made with beef or pork sausage if you aren't doing the detox.  Change it up with different types of meat, the meal turns out differently everytime.  And EVERY TIME...it has been a hit with my family.
