Ingredients
- 1/3 c. Hoisin Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Reduced Sodium / gluten free soy sauce
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp Seasame Seeds
- 1.5-2 lbs Chicken Thighs Boneless, skinless (organic/pasture raised)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients except chicken and sesame seeds to dish and mix
- Reserve 1/4-1/3 c. of marinade for sauce after chicken is cooked
- Add chicken and marinate for at least 4 hours
- Grill - about 6 minutes per side
- Remove from grill, pour reserve marinade over and spinkle with seasame seeds.
Notes
This is a yummy meal that all in the family will love. If you'd like to reduce the sugar content, cut the Hoisin sauce to only 2 Tbsp.
The chicken is great served with either rice or baby potatoes and roasted/grilled asparagus.
If you are doing the detox, you can still have this recipe...but instead of the Hoisin sauce, replace it with 1-2tsp of Stevia or Monk Fruit Sweetener. Or eliminate it all together.
