Detox Turkey Burger & Fries

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 16oz. Frozen Potato Fries I love Trader Joes
  • 1 Pkg Trader Joe's Frozen Turkey Burgers 4 per package
  • 1 Roma Tomato
  • 1 head Butter lettuce, Spring Mix or Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 Avocado Sliced
  • 2 lg Pickles sliced
  • 1/4 Onion
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Instructions

  • Add the fries into the Air Fryer, and follow its directions. I prefer the frozen kind over fresh as they tend to crisp up better in the Air Fryer
  • Turn on the grill to 400 degrees
  • While the grill is warming up, prep the lettuce, slice the tomato, avocado, pickles, onion
  • Cook the burgers about 7-10 minutes on each side
  • Serve with vegetables and fries.

Notes

Trader Joe’s has some of the best chicken and turkey burgers, and this one is one of my faves.  The ingredients are so simple – turkey, salt and rosemary – that’s it.  Serve it with your favorite veggies and a side of the home fries, and you will never miss the bun.
Have extra napkins on hand or a fork/knife to make eating the burger a little easier.

Non – Detox: top your burger with your favorite cheese, or try serving it open bun style and include one half of a bun under all the burger and veggie goodness.
